Beloved daughter, sister, wife and mother, Kassie Shae Lee, 27, and her first born son, Jerym Samuel Lee, 8, of St. George, Utah passed away on August 18, 2008, as a result of a tragic automobile accident.

When she made time for herself, she enjoyed exercising, tanning, crafts, taking pictures and traveling to Disneyland and Sea World with her family. As the only girl in her immediate family, Kassie was treasured by her parents and brothers.
Kassie will never be forgotten for her kind and generous heart and her spunky sense of humor. Her personality could bring a smile to anyone’s face and cheer those up that were down.

Jerym or "Jer Bear" will always be remembered as a gentle, loving, sweet spirited boy. He was his mom’s best helper and as a big brother to Jace and Jazmyn, was very protective of them. He loved playing basketball, skateboarding, and golf just like his dad. Jerym also enjoyed playing video games. He attended Kindergarten through 2nd grade at Sandstone Elementary and then went to Riverside Elementary for 3rd grade. When he grew up, he wanted to be a firefighter.

Family Update

So many things have happened the past few weeks. Some beyond the moon happy and some beyond the moon sad. Let's get to the happy first. On August 4th my baby brother became a Dad! Holy Cow, what a trip! Julia Rae was born 6 lbs 9 oz and is just beautiful. She looks so tiny in Brooks's big ole' arms. Both mom and baby are doing well. Heather did AWESOME during the delivery. It was the most fun I have had in a long while. (I was the camera girl) We are so blessed to have this new addition to our family.

Brooks moved to Virginia last Monday. I felt so bad for him having to leave his new little one and his beautiful wife. They will join him in October. He started school yesterday and has a grueling two years ahead of him. He will be glad when it is finished.

Now to the very sad. Last Monday, August 18, our beautiful cousin Kassie (age 27) and her little boy Jerym (age 8) were killed in a car accident while she was taking her two boys to school. Our hearts are broken. Jace (age 6) survived the accident and is currently in a children's hospital. There are no words to bring comfort to the family. She is survived by her husband, son, and two year old daughter. Her parents and brothers are grief stricken as well as all of us who love them. We will miss them terribly.
