Snowstorm

I arrived at a beautiful snowstorm at work Friday morning. As I entered the door, dozens of snowflakes and candles where there to greet me. It was one of the most beautiful things that I have ever seen. Liz had decided that for Carter's birthday, she would give me a snowstorm. Those that remember the beautiful snowstorm that we had the day before Carter died, his BEST DAY EVER, know how special that day was for us, and how every time we see a snowflake we think of him. Well, Liz remembered and planned a snowflake conspiracy. She involved people at work and my family. Each sent a snowflake or message so when I arrived there was a special snowstorm for me. It took my breath away. I am posting pictures, even though they do not even come close at capturing the beauty. It was amazing. Just absolutely amazing.

FOOTBALL

Here are some picture of Trae last night at his game. He played so well!! However, he played with a sprained ankle. It is HUGE and ugly but he thinks that it it his battle wound. Lucky for me it was the last game of the season. He is growing up so fast. We are going to blink and he will be grown. Trae is just going to love that I posted the picture with him and his mom!

Our First Post

So I have decided to do something a little different. I have noticed that my updates on Carter's site have been sparse. This has NOT been because I don't think of him as often, the opposite is true. However, I find myself needing to change it up a bit. I will keep Carter's pages up. I feel that it is important for parents with children with a new diagnosis of Ohtahara to be able to find a resource. No parent should ever feel like they are alone in this. However, I am creating this blog to keep you all informed on the in's and out's of our family's lives. Time passes too quickly and we see each of you so very seldom that so much is missed. So here it is....the new McNabbster Family Blog. It is a work in progress...so be patient. I will get the hang of it sooner or later. We love you.
